After shopping at the Sun Tan Village, we also headed off to Freestone Park which has an amazing cascading waterfall pond where you can feed the ducks and even see a tall bird which I think is an egret.

Basketball courts, sand volleyball pits, and even a 22,000 square feet skate park are available. And the best part of it all, they have a mini-theme park with rides for small kids! Maybe those less than 10 years old - an antique carousel and a mini-ferris wheel among several others.

This is a very nice new brewery restaurant in Gilbert Arizona. It is located at the Sant Tan Vilage shopping mall. This restaurant just opened at the end of September 2007. Nice bar area and a two outdoor patios. The interior is dark but pleasant. If you are looking for a quiet bar this is not the place for you. It's a little noisy with music and just voices carrying. There are flat screens posted throughout with sporting events showing.

The food was very good. They have fantastic burgers and their garlic fries are pretty tasty. Our table also had pulled pork sandwiches and steak burgers. Both were very good.

Great place to hang out.

Favorite Dish: Steak Burger with garlic fries. Very tasty.

My wife wanted to go shopping and so I brought her to this upscale shopping place called San Tan Village in Gilbert where I watched the kids while they were on the playground’s splash pad…what a great shopping center (opened Autumn 2007)!

It’s amazing that Gilbert has established such a great shopping paradise, considering that it was recently just a farming and bedroom community. It is definitely one of the fastest growing communities in Arizona.
Coach, Banana Republic, Sunglass Hut….and wow, lots of kid clothes like Naartje and Children Place by the playgrounds and this is what we're interested in:

…there’s even a DQ Ice Cream branch after we enjoyed the splash pad (just small and good for little kids)! They also clean the playground regularly from 2-3PM…

What to pay: Lots of bargains!
