Fiesta Mexicana: Best Mexican Food!

Just ate there last night (7/21/10) and had an amazing dinner. The food alone is a 10...the salsa was a little hot, but was great. It not only has great food, but a great theme and ambiance. I'd highly recommend it to traveler's in Page, AZ. It's across the street from Safeway.

Favorite Dish: Enchilada Mole.

Peppers Restaurant

Inside the Marriott Courtyard Hotel is a great little restaurant called Peppers. Its open to the public as well as its guests, and if you`re in the area...its probably one of the better places to eat.

Good American food with a few unusual dishes thrown in and a fairly good wine selection.

Its in a beautiful setting with patio dining if wanted (too hot outside for us!)overlooking the canyons. Tastefully decorated with Navajo sand paintings and wall hangings, Navajo weapons of old and the service was good with friendly staff.

Breakfast was buffet style but plenty of choice with hot and cold dishes.

Favorite Dish: The chicken was delicious and really different.

Lake Powell Resort: A Bar with a View

The resort comprises lodging, restaurant and a more informal lounge area - The Driftwood Lounge.

I can't remember if we ate here or not but the beer was ok and the views great. Friendly, efficient service and if memory serves me correctly not hugely expensive.

You have the option of sitting at the bar, in the restaurant or even out by the pool - having had enough sunshine for the day the bar seemed the best option.

Favorite Dish: If we did it must have been wings or some such road food and must have been OK otherwise I would have remembered.

Relinde during the picknick.

We guess that this is not the restaurant-tip you are looking for. But we like to share this anyway! :-)

We just made our own sandwiches, bought a coffe and tea in a local store and sat down on a field of grass. We had our own picknick.

The view we had was amazing, right at the Glen Canyon Dam. Beautiful experience and a peace of rest at the day.
