World Buffet, Glendale, Arizona by jumpingnorman This restaurant opened this January 2009 during the time of economic recession. An interesting time to open business --- and the building is newly built with paint still newly put on and spotlessly even...But even with these bad financial times, when you have good food, people still flock to you. And what a bargain! They fill their buffet with well-cooked crabs and an assortment of your favorite Chinese food, Japanese sushi and even Mongolian grilling. Pizza and fries also available. Everything in the restaurant is new and you can see the staff is very attentive to everybody, giving service with a smile. &crUnlike othe buffets, this restaurant keeps cleanliness a top priority because of strict Arizona restaurant policies. They started very well, and so we decided to have our twins fifth birthday party here and the owner had a whole secluded section for us with fitted our 80 guests very well. So, specially when you're really hungry, head off to this place!

Haus Murphy's Restaurant, Glendale, Arizona by jumpingnorman It was a chilly December 2008 evening and we just saw the Christmas lights at Glendale and wanted to have something warm --- and we saw this nice restaurant which looked small from outside but was bigger inside. There were also lots of other families with kids. This authentic GERMAN restaurant has live entertainment(Um-Pah-Pah) every Friday and Saturday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. For $13.95, I was able to have the Gulasch (Szegediner) which are tender Chunks of Pork and Beef; Braised and slow cooked with Bell Peppers and Onions served on a Bed of Sauerkraut with Haus-made Spaetzle. It was good! There are several other choices like Haus Specialties, The Art of Schnitzel and German Sausages -- all of them you can see on their menu on-line. Hours of Operation: Monday - 4:00pm-8:00pm Tuesday - 11:00am-9:00pm Wednesday - 11:00am-9:00pm Thursday - 11:00am-9:00pm Friday - 11:00am-9:00pm Saturday - 11:00am-9:00pm Sunday - 12:00pm-8:00pm Leave a Comment Theme: German/AustrianPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: more expensive than averageAddress: 5739 W. This place is very friendly and intimate. It's located in Glendale next to Luke AFB and they have another location off Bell/7th St. I haven't been to that location. I ordered the pork bbq sandwich on the lunch menu and it was great. The sauce is a right touch of sweetness with a kick on the hot. Making me want to take a trip to Kansas to taste it in person.

Is what they yell when you walk into the door. The food is great and the location is ideal. It's located in the new Westgate Center next to the stadium where the 2008 Superbowl will be hosted.

The Tea Shoppe / Glendale Arizona by queencreekfreak, 1 more photos This is a sweet little tea shop nestled between two antique stores in Glendale Arizona. After a nice morning of shopping the antique stores take a break and enjoy some tea and lunch at the Tea Shoppe. This is a sweet little Mom and Pop sort of place. It is very clean and is decorated with some quaint country antiques. The food is good and simple. They have a wonderful bean soup and strawberry salad. The sandwiches are nice too. The average age of the patrons while I was there on a Saturday morning was 50+. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 11-4
I enjoyed some excellent navy bean soup and a refreshing strawberry salad and blueberry ice tea.
