Cerreta Chocolates
Located in Downtown Glendale, you can tour the family owned chocolate factory and also purchase a variety of chocolate candies. The tours are Monday-Friday at 10 & 1

Fun, free (if you can restrain yourself from buying any chocolate) activity.

    Sahuaro Ranch Park
Sahuaro Ranch Park is the nicest park in Glendale. This park is listed on the National Register of Historical Places-it preserves one of the oldest ranches in the Valley. The park is beautiful. When you enter if you park on the right you will immediately notice the beautiful home set amongst the palm trees and rose garden surrounded by an old citrus grove. You can walk around the ranch and view 13 of the original ranch buildings. There are tours available as well. The rose garden is beautifully kept and my personal favorite to view. Bunnies, chickens, and roosters walk around the ranch area. After walking through the historice area you can walk down the path through the wrought iron gate and this will lead you into the playground area. There are three separate playgrounds, so no matter what your kids age there will be something for them. The older kids playground is something of a giant jungle gym, so if the kids love to climb this is a unique park you won't forget anytime soon after you visit.

    Bead Museum
This is a very nice museum on the history of beads and beading. The museum is small but nice. If you are a beader you will get into it. They also have a gift shop where you can buy beading supplies. Admission to the museum is $5.
