Luggage and bags: Well, it depends on if you are here for the day, or plan on spending more time. If you are camping, I'm sure you already know how to prepare for this. Ask a specialty camping/outdoor store in Arizona for any special items you may require

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring Hiking shoes. I wore Teva Sandals, as I'm used to wearing these things outdoors a lot. They are great in the water and don't slip on wet rocks.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Bring toilet paper and a shovel if you are going to be doing your business in the woods.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Sunscreen, Rain Gear. Also, it gets very windy up on the canyon, so make sure you bring warm clothes for the evening, even in July.

Luggage and bags: If it's hot when you're hiking, bring a water bottle so you won't get dehydrated.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: If you're going to hike in, wear hiking boots with ankle support, to reduce chance of spraining an ankle on the many rocks. Also plan on wearing a sun hat during the hike.

It can get cold at night in the canyon so bring a sweater or jacket. The aera may also have sudden rain showers so bring a parka or water reistant jacket.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Definitely bring along a roll of toilet paper if you're going to stay at the camp grounds.

If you're staying at the lodge in the village, you won't need to bring toilet paper.

Here's a photo of the out-house. The stench is quite bad since it's a 'self-composting' toilet.

Photo Equipment: If you bring a video or still camera to capture the beauty of the various water falls, bring a water proof bag to protect your camera from the spray.
