    Well it is easy to question have you seen that rock before, or is that the rock from a new angle. Since there are a myriad of rocks and shapes to see as you go round the rim, it is no wonder you get confused. Main thing is take in the wonder of the canyon, take lots of photos for your memory bank will never remember them all.

    As you gaze in awe at the mini mountains in the canyon, you can give names to the shapes and silhouettes that seem to sail into view. Is it a ship, a pyramid, a horseman of something out of this world.

    Look down and see the subtle ranges of rock clours. The shadow gives some perspective. Vegetation seems to cling to the rocks.

    The canyon has an ability to appear completely different as you walk around the South rim and find new rock formations to admire or the sun is from a different angle and the rock formations look oh so unusual.
