Grand Canyon Marketplace, Grand Canyon National Park
Forget something? This is where you can probably find it. The General at Market Plaza (South Rim) is a combination camp, liquor and clothing store, grocery, deli and gift shop, and rents backpacking equipment besides. Not just for tourists, this is Supply Central for residents of Grand Canyon Village between trips to lower-priced supermarkets considerably more than shoutin’ distance away. Yes, it’s expensive but that’s no surprise considering the relative remoteness of the canyon. And any way you slice it, picking up breakfast and picnic fixings here is going to be easier on a family budget than 3 meals a day at any Grand Canyon restaurant.
The USB for my itouch charger crapped out on our first day, and I found a replacement here. Yay.
A similar although smaller market is located at the campgrounds on the North Rim. We trotted over here for hot chocolate, gorp and granola bars one morning.
Hours for both are seasonal so check those out here:
Books & More - Open daily year-round, 8am to 5pm, additional open hours vary seasonally.
Canyon Village Marketplace - Open daily year-round, 8am to 7pm, additional open hours vary seasonally.

If you are looking to buy Grand Canyon souvenirs, the largest place to buy them is at the Market Plaza in Grand Canyon Village. Souvenirs include the regulars like t-shirts, mugs, caps, stickers, magnets, and postcards. The store also sells some food and drink.
There's also a fast food restaurant nearby where you can eat lunch. There's also a post office in the plaza.
