Lake Havasu City has several replicas of famous lightouses from around the country. One of those is located at the southern end of the park.
About midway along the Mohave Trail you can find the Native Garden which showcases the plants indigenous to the area.
There are several beaches in the park. Some are suitable for swimming and some are better for just wading. Enjoy the water!
The Mohave Sunset Trail winds its way through the lowland desert and along the shoreline of Lake Havasu. It is 1.5 miles each way. At about the midway point is the Arroyo-Camino Interpretive Garden which showcases the diverse life that exists within the park and this area of the desert. Birds, lizards, and desert cottontails are common sights. I hiked in the early morning and it was very relaxing and enjoyable.
Equipment: Good walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, plenty of water.
