Lake Powell provides more then just water skiing & touring the canyon walls of this massive lake. It's also all about fishing as well....for you fisher men & women out there. Once a year we have a tournament here on the lake... I hear you win a nice fishing boat, the kind that shine like a fishing lure. In fact they tag these fish at Lake Powell and each tag has a number, so whatever the number matches the prices that's what you get...one tag is a million dollars :o), (Sure could use a million dollar about now).

Geared up kid.

All over this area, you have cliffs, mesa, LOTS of rocks (different shapes, size, and color), but whatever one you find it just fun to repell off the landscape, free like the bird and naked like the geckos.

Bring with you the upmost of climing gears professional gear, your life will depend on it, nothing second hand if you vault your life. Remember this is sand stone you'll be climing and working around with.

Lummie, there's a net below?

As you can see the cliffs are very high and steep, so be very careful. This is Lummie repelling with no hands, don't try this at home unless your a professional.

Not only good gears but also bring a spotter or someone with you just in case of a error, better safe then sorry.

If fun, and at the same time scary, and is one the stupids thing I every done in my life. If you never repelled in your life this is one thing you should do just to say "I did it".

Make sure everything is tight and listen to the instructure, and don't get cocky.

	It got away

I caught a BIG one, but it got
away.

You don't have to have $$$$$ to enjoy a good fishing on this lake. Anywhere you go on this 1900 miles of shoreline you will catch something for dinner ;o). All I take along is a good strong fishing rod, bait, and a comfortable chair.

Hat, sunscreen, cold water, snack, fishing rod, bait, comfortable chair, sunglasses.
