If you are looking for handmade stoneware pottery with a Southwest flavor, try the Old Pearce Pottery located across from the Old Pearce General Store by the Old Pearce Post Office. They also do some custom pottery for individuals so if there is a particular style/design or perhaps color that you've been wanting to have in a piece of pottery. They are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM.

If you are in the area and want to find some cheap books, look no further than the Friends of the Library Bookstore. The prices are dirt cheap, the selection fairly good and profits help the local library.

What to pay: They had some paperbacks for 10 cents and hardbacks for as low as a quarter.
This is unique in my experience. Goods are made on the premises from the milk of the resident goats.
Recommended to us by a young lady working on the ranch and well worth a visit - either for things to take home or just to spoil yourselves with.
