If you are planning on traveling outside of central Phoenix to the suburbs be aware that some routes stop running as early at 7pm so you may be stranded in the suburbs. If you will be traveling far it is best to rent a car.And some of the bus stops are uncovered so if the weather is hot you may be standing in the bright hot sun waiting for a bus.

City buses are a joke and they stop working at 9pm in most areas. And you have to call a cab company to get a cab as they are never around when you really do need one. Rent a car or meet a reliable friend!

Public transportation is a nightmare. Rent a car or expect to pay for taxis. The tap water is very hard and not very taste. Buy the bottled water. Becareful in some hotels and areas for scorpions.
