During the days when Pipe Springs was a tithing ranch for the Mormon community, butter, cheese and other staples were produced here. These products were transported via wagon to the Mormon settlement in St. George.
Although no longer a working ranch, some livestock remains at Pipe Springs. I tried to photograph the bulls, but they didn't seem to think that was a good idea. The wooden fence didn't seem like it would withstand a charging bull, so I gave up on the idea.
