Sweet Darlene's is located in a metal building. The decor was long tables and something like plastic patio chairs and folding chairs. It actually gave the feeling of a family gathering or an old-style church social. I found this appealing. The service was pretty good. My waitress was pretty friendly and seemed competent. Then the food arrived and my opinion dropped quickly. The food was not very good. The soup had little to no flavor and the entree was tough and bland. I will not return. Maybe the baked goods are better?
Favorite Dish: None.
This a rather small restaraunt, but serves food in a big way. There is a monster burger that if you can eat it within a certain time is free. Their specialty though is the all-you-can-eat fish fry they have on Friday nights. No
little shrimps here - everything on your plate is huge!
Favorite Dish: The fried fish is very fresh and tasty.
The food served here is very good. The
servings are very abundant - usually always
need a take-home box. Soup is home-made.
Favorite Dish: My favorite is the Pepper Steak Dinner which is smothered with sauteed peppers and onions. Option of baked, mashed, or fries.
soup or salad, vegetable and roll.
