  • Cheap good Mexican food is to be had on Tucsons southside.(duh) The best deal in town I think is at El Torrero.
    Smoking allowed!

    This place has a lunch special of 2 cheese enchiladas, mouthwatering at that and two beef tacos for under 5 bucks, and it comes with chips and salsa. Being in the city of South Tucson, a matter of blocks, this establishment allows its patrons to smoke inside the restaurant, a rarity these days, they also have a full bar. Be sure to ask for their Pico de Gaillo- their freshest hottest salsa but ya have to ask.

  • Too many excellent ones to choose from. Most are very crowded at obvious mealtimes. Go at an off-hour if you can.

    The dining room is located in the historic Grand Canyon Lodge, offering fine dining in a casual atmosphere, with magnificent views overlooking the rim of the Canyon.

    It was the first time and only time I have ever had duck. I don't want anything to spoil the memory of that meal! It was that good!!! The special cactus jelly that the duck was smothered in was DELICIOUS!!!

    The best 'sit down' meal I had in Arizona was at the 'Down Under' New Zealand Restaurant in Flagstaff. We ate at some other little places also. In the photo is a little diner in Gila Bend, Stovall's Space Age Outer Limits, where we had a nice breakfast. It reminded me of lots of other small town diners except that it had a space theme. There were pictures of astronauts on the walls and is next to the Space Age Lodge.

    thay will make you any thing you fancy......
    just ask them!

    the salad....(i am a vege.:>)
    but my friends realy enjoyed the T bone stake....

    I don't know what it's called but its spicy vegetarian dish from Thailand
