well Arizona seems to have good mexican restaurants.... It's a very americana state and if you are a person of color, though people tend to be friendly, can be a bit racist, so be prepared.. Ok off the subject here.. But, must go is small icecreamaries in most cities in Arizona.. or Snow Cone Stands:) Specially during summer season:)

Macayo's Mexican Restaurant has the best mexican food in the valley.
Price is average(around $6-10 for an entree) but it's not spicey if you don't want it to be which is good for my poor bland Canadian tastebuds!! And if you don't really like Mexican but your friends do, they have a non-mexican section that carries the basics. But try something new!! TRUST ME!!

This restuarant has an old western theme. Usually European tourists come here to eat, but hey it's fun if you want good eats. Also be aware that if you come here with a tie on, they will immediatly cut it off and hang it from the ceiling. They also have live music here, along with country dancing

One of the best places to eat if you are in the Scottsdale area is this great little Spanish restaurant called Pepin's it has great paella and other Spanish dishes and best of all live entertainment on the weekend.
On the weekends the have live entertainmnet. The weekend I went they had flanmico dancers and a guitarist. Oh! and after they stop serving they move the tables and it becomes a place to dance to salasa music and it's free it you there to eat and decide to stay other wise there is a cover charge.

A 50's style diner with an attitude. The waiters and waitresses dance on the table tops, pop bubblegum and yell at the customers. All this and great sandwiches too. They are a real 'blast from the past' that everyone should enjoy.

the night we lodged in Prescott, we had dinner at a steakhouse whose name i can't remember at all (bad luck).
There we had a tasty rump steak served with fresh vegetables, and the beer was fine too. I can remember the price was fair
