The decor was about what you would expect for a Chinese buffet. Booths and tables with Chinese style paintings and travel posters. The buffet had a good selection to include some good seafood.
Favorite Dish: I enjoyed all the seafood dishes like the mussels and the fish with different sauces.
One of the things Graham and Greenlee (right next door) counties advertise is the so-called "Salsa Trail" a group of Mexican Restaurants in the area. One of them is El Charro. El Charro is located at 601 W. Main Street in a building built in 1900 to house the C.T. Reynolds and Jeters Mercantile Store. This building is number 4 on the list of historic sites in Safford. The decor inside is pretty nice, bricks and dark wood. The food was good; but not exceptional. Service should have been better for the number of people they had working there.
Favorite Dish: I had the enchilada platter which was good.
I ate here while staying in Safford. The decor was normal for a restaurant of this type. The waitress was pretty friendly and efficient. Jumbo is open until 8 daily and has a buffet from 11 to 3. Not much to set it apart from the rest; but if you want some good Chinese food at a decent price it's worth a stop.
Favorite Dish: I had the Hunan Three Delights. It was very good.
