    Ain't this pretty?

Luggage and bags: Bring a big one!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring layers of all kinds of clothing if travelling in Winter. Temps varied between the 30's and 70's while I was there.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Lotion, lotion, lotion! The desert air makes your skin dry!

Photo Equipment: Be sure to be able to capture all the colors and brilliant sunshine

    Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Can't tell ya - I don't camp.

    Miscellaneous: Whatever makes ya happy....

    Pack your suntan lotion

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: It was so nice to just lay on the floatable and not do a darn thing. The only thing my buddy Randy and I needed was a cold beer. Well if you must bring clothes, bring swimwear, sunscreen, shorts, t-shirt and a towel.

sunglasses and suncreen a must year round.

by JLoeb Updated Jun 6, 2007

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Although Phoenix/Scottsdale boast year round weather it does get cold in the winter months. Jan through March can get quite cool. Be prepared when visting during these months. Days are cool and nights can get cold. A light jacket or sweater will do. Summer is monsoon season so be prepared to get caught in one of the sudden unexpected storms. Good news they do not last long and soon the sun is back out.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: There are many Walgreen locations throughout the area if you should leave your Rx @ home.

Photo Equipment: Due to the extremely bright conditions you should rememebr to bring a fliter for your camera if you are at all interested in taking photo's out in the open spaces.

    Don't forget Sunblock and Sunglasses

by HELEN Written Apr 30, 2012

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: You are going to the desert, during the summer it's scorching hot, during the winter it's freezing cold. But, the sun is almost always shining, so you'll want your sunglasses and sun-block at all times.
