Buffalo Wild Wings: Wings and Things

Great Sportsbar offering wings flavored to everyone's taste. There are other dishes on this menu, but it is not a vegetarian hangout. It is loud, with telvisions everywhere showing all sports.

Favorite Dish: I prefer bone out wings wet, but the onion rings are great! Don't forget a pint of Guiness!

Outback Steakhouse: Outback behind the Sajuaro

Vast steakhouse chain now famous for it's so-called Aussie flavor. This one is unique for an older more sedated crowd that appears to be regulars out for their steak after a day golfing in the retirement communitty's course.

Favorite Dish: There is the bloomin' onion, but the steaks are normally good to go. California style to the seafood menu.

Favorite Dish: The appetizers: Firecracker Jalapenos
Six spicy jalapenos stuffed with chicken and mixed cheeses, and tempura-fried golden. Served with queso.

Traveling from Phoenix

When traveling from Phoenix to Surprise, use I-10 West and Loop 101 North. Even thought it is a shorter distance, U.S. 60 (Grand Ave.) is a longer trip because of all the 6-way stop lights.

Also, don't be surprised if the traffic on I-10 is very fast. If you drive the speed limit (55 mph) on I-10, you will be the slowest driver on the highway. In my travel to Phoenix, the average speed was 65-70 mph.
