Luggage and bags: Additional bags for shopping may be necessary.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Pack sun glasses! Light cotton clothes (shorts, T-shirts) for warm or hot days. Sweater/pullover and/or jacket for colder evenings/nights. Tombstone is situated on a mesa (an elevated area of land with a flat top and sides that are usually steep cliffs) between the Dragoon and Huachuca Mountains at an elevation of 4,540 feet (1380 m) thus both days and especially nights are colder than in say Tucson. Difference in day-night temperature may be high. Pretty warm days but freezing nights in winter are common!

Check weather forecast for Tombstone now.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Good sun protection cosmetics with high UV filter - use them BEFORE or just after you leave your car.

Photo Equipment: Lots of film or memory cards and your polarizer lenses, enhancing lenses especially for pictures at bright sunlight.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Tourist frige with ice cubes and cold beverages inside :-).

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: comfortable shoes, heels get stuck in the boardwalks. :0) The weather is nice here, a bit warm in the summer, light clothing is best, stay away from dark colors they attract the heat. Water bottles are a good thing to bring.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Drink lots of water and sunscreen is recommended. Especially if you are traveling with children.

Photo Equipment: Make sure you are well stocked with what you need, there are no stores here to get supplies other than 35 mm film.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: If you are thinking about going hiking in the area, there are some great spots. Water, Water, Water!!!!And watch out for snakes and the wildlife, they generally stay away from the populated areas but when it is dry they are found in town quite often. We have a lot of deer, javelina, rabbits, moutain lions (hardly ever come near people, but have been seen in town), snakes , scorpions and various other bugs.
