IS THERE A WAY TO GIVE A RESTAURANT MORE THAN 5 STARS? THE HORSESHOE CAFE WOULD EARN THEM. GREAT FOOD, AND A COZY ATMOSPHERE. REALLY ENJOYABLE WAIT STAFF AND OTHER CUSTOMERS. IT FELT LIKE BEING IN SOMEONE'S HOME WITHOUT HAVING TO HELP WITH THE DISHES AFTER EATING. THE BREAKFASTS ARE ALL GREAT . . . AND FILLING. NO ONE EVER LEAVES HERE HUNGRY. DEB THOMPSON, THE OWNER, MAKES SURE THAT EVERYONE FEELS WELCOME, AND IF YOU WEREN'T SMILING WHEN YOU ARRIVED - YOU WILL CERTAINLY BE WHEN YOU LEAVE. DO NOT MISS THIS GREAT LITTLE PLACE.
THEY ALSO OPEN AT 5 A.M. EVERY MORNING, SO IT IS A GREAT STOP FOR EARLY RISERS OR TRAVELERS ON THEIR WAY AT THE CRACK OF DAWN. COME IN AND HAVE GREAT FOOD WITH THE LOCALS AT THAT TIME OF DAY...HELP SOLVE ALL THE WORLD'S PROBLEMS...AND GO OUT AND CAUSE A FEW MORE!!!!!
Favorite Dish: THE BISCUITS AND GRAVY ARE THE BEST EVER...AND THIS COMES FROM SOMEONE WHO LIVED IN MEMPHIS FOR 8 YEARS. NO ONE IN THE SOUTH EVER MADE SUCH A GREAT DISH. YOU ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT LEAVE THE HORSESHOE HUNGRY...NO MATTER WHAT YOU ORDER.

Helpfulness
An excellent place to start the morning is at the Twin Wheels, next door to the movie theater right on the main drag. I'd say the place is damn near perfect - excellent food, good service, in a western kitschy setting for a very reasonable price. Doesn't get much better than that!
