Favorite thing: We did not travel Rt. 66 because we came up from Phoenix. But, if you are coming to the Grand Canyon from Southern California or Las Vegas, one of the longest stretches of Rt. 66 is on your way to Williams. There are lots of interesting stops along the way including Grand Canyon Caverns.

Favorite thing: Visit the Route 66 gift shop. I bought some t shirts, mugs etc. as gifts and I recieved a free Route 66 2002 Calender. How great is that.
