loca luna restaurant: a very pleasant evening out
this is a lovely restaurant with a very diverse selection of food and wine. it is relatively large, but the dining area is divided into rooms so that it seems smaller and less crowded.
the food is very well prepared, the waiters and waitresses are very knowledgeable about the offerings. they have nightly specials.
Favorite Dish: i like the thai salad, but beware that the dressing is VERY spicy!
the desserts are sensational!

Flying FIsh: Line up for Good Food!
The Flying Fish is set up like a fast food joint. Line up to order and find a table. (vice versa). A tag will be given for you to pick up the order when it's ready.
Menu was impressive! Oysters, crablegs, fish (catish, salmon, etc.) . Yum!
The restaurant is laid back and casual. Pictures of fishing enthusiasts line up the wall of one room. Also, Checkout the seabass wall in the other room! Overall it was a great experience to eat in this place, I will definitely come back!
Favorite Dish: No faves yet since I've only eaten here once. However, I recommend the raw oysters and the grilled catfish.
Now, I've always been leery of eating catfish. Being from a country that is abundant in salt water fish...I've always had the impression that grilled catfish would taste muddy.
Plus, the catfish here in the US are massive!!! They look like they should be eating me!
Anyway, my mom ordered the catfish in this restaurant and it was very good : - )
Me? I had the grilled salmon... it was good too but I wish my mom agreed to a trade!
"The restaurant for beer lovers": Boscos
Came here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon with Francine (VT: VianneR) and Bob. I wanted to try the beer, but I also wanted the eggs. It was my first time mixing Heffeweizen with Omelettes; delicious!!
I found this place by accident, now I can't stop going there for lunch! It's the best BBQ in Little Rock! The owner, Rick, runs a high quality and clean restaurant.
Favorite Dish: I recommend the pulled pork salad and roasted chicken!
When I first lived in Little Rock in the early 1990's, Mt Fuji was the only Sushi Bar in town. I go back on monday nights for the sushi buffet. Unfortunately, it's no longer the best Sushi in town....
U.S. Pizza: U.S. Pizza
This is a wonderful local chain. Their pizza is quite unique -- it's traditional, but of such high quality that I haven't found anywhere to match it. The best way to eat their pizza is with a side of their house dressing (a creamy, ranch-like concoction) into which you dip the crusts. They even have crushed ice instead of cubes in their beverages. For what more could you ask?
Favorite Dish: Pizza, of course.

My favorite Restaurant is Doe's Eat Place, a favorite hang out for political types during legislative sessions. Bill Clinton haunted this place during his first campaign.
Favorite Dish: Steaks the size of platters. Not for the faint hearted or the colesteral phobics.
Hunan Oriental Cuisine: Hunan Oriental Cuisine
Hunan's is a wonderful restaurant that left the Little Rock scene for a short time but reopened just a few years ago. It's done remarkably well now that its back under its regular ownership.
