    Hot Springs Nightlife

by Astrobuck Written Jul 22, 2007

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Hot Springs is a very busy place at night. There is so much to do! Everything from nice restaurants, to casinos, to live music, and even a wax museum are all available for your enjoyment. Many places are open very late, while some close early. It's best to check with these places when you arrive. Everything except the casino is within walking distance, which is good when it gets crowded from time to time.

Dress Code: Many of the places we went to didn't require you to dress up, really. I wore a polo shirt with a pair of slacks in the restaurant at the Arlington Hotel. Everywhere else was t-shirt/shorts, and we got along just fine.

    Drive-Thru Liquor

    by reon80 Written Jun 16, 2003

As someone who is from Iowa, I was excited to learn that Hot Springs, Arkansas, is home to a bunch of drive-thru liquor stores. The idea of people driving up to a store and being handed a bunch of beer, vodka, etc and then driving off into the sunset without getting out of their cars was novel:) It's about the only thing we really got excited about in Arkansas (no offense), so I just wanted to share it with y'all:) Happy travels!

    Nightlife? What nightlife!?

by Kiisu Updated Sep 1, 2002

Nightlife? What nightlife!? Most towns in the Ozarks pull up the sidewalks at night...that is, the ones that actually have sidewalks! Ok, I may be exaggerating, but not by much! A few great exceptions are Eureka Springs (for all sorts of entertainment, especially their intimate Blues festival in June), Mountain View (for real Ozark music), and Branson, MO if you like variety/dinner shows. And just a warning - there are still some 'dry' counties here, so you may need to bring your own booze!

Dress Code: Dress Code? Get real - this is the Ozarks!! Casual dress is fine for most places.

You can drive up the curvy road to the top.
