    It's the only place in California that feels like a bayou in Louisiana! And it's very romantic, too :)

    There all the different themed areas in the park there were numerous restaurants, cafes, diners, fast food shacks, ice cream parlours, drinks stands etc to satisfy even the fussiest. I was usually too busy to sit for too long and mainly snacked here and there.

    One of the best memories I have of my first visit was savouring a frozen banana, dipped in chocolate and coated in nuts - on a stick from a street trolley... wow was that good but hardly a meal.

    While in California, you MUST visit
    IN-N-OUT Burger! They have absolutely the best hamburgers ever! So good, I've eaten here twice in one day. The freshest ingredients.
    The Burgers! Meat, Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese, Sauce on a toasted fresh bun. Onions on request, fresh or sauteed. A recommendation.

    They have great Shakes! Vanilla, Chocolate or Strawberry. Made the way they are supposed to be made. With REAL ingredients.

    Most fast food places use frozen pre-cut French Fries made somewhere else. IN-N-OUT uses potatoes prepared onsite into shoestring French Fries. They are fried quickly in vegetable oil. Note: You have to eat the fries within 20 minutes or they will become soggy.

    Cheeseburger, Fries, Vanilla Shake or Dr. Pepper.

    We had lunch at Tomorrowland Terrace. I wanted to buy Clint lunch because he is such a great guy, but fate intervened in the form of the waiter inadvertently giving Clint the ticket. I grudgingly let him pay for lunch with the understanding that I paid for supper. I had fried chicken, corn on the cob, and a biscuit. The chicken was so greasy you could change the oil in an '81 Fairmont with it. The biscuit was so hard I was tempted to save it to "rock" to sleep that apparently obligatory crying baby on every flight. In reference to the corn, you would have to be a complete idiot to screw up corn on the cob- Disneyland somehow found the way. Clint had turkey sandwiches and some sort of pasta salad with kidney beans in it.

    The following year, I learned my lesson and had what Clint had.

    Smoked turkey sandwich with pasta salad and beans. as the least objectionable restaurant in Disneyland, by default, the Tomorrowland Terrace earns a C.

    Out door dining near the water. Across the bay was a stage where we saw a music and dancing show while we ate.

    Veal piccata had an amazing combination of flavors perfectly prepared. I think it was one of the best meals I have ever had.

    When visiting Disneyland (see review below), I recommend Redd Rockett's Pizza Port, located in Tomorrowland. They have a tasty selection of meal-sized salads, pastas, and pizza. But brace yourself. Like the rest of the food offered at Disneyland, it is pricey. Can you say $28 for a whole pizza?! Whoa! Fortunately, they also sell pizza by the slice.

    I drove 45 minutes up to the Westwood area to visit a nephew and we ate here.

    Every item you order at Del Taco is made fresh for you as you order it. No holding bins, and they don't use those evil microwaves. Del Taco only uses freshly grilled chicken, 100% real cheddar cheese grated fresh in the stores all day long, real strawberry shakes made with 100% California strawberries, fresh (never frozen) hamburger patties for made to order burgers, and each batch of lard free beans is slow cooked for three hours for maximum flavor
