Craving mouthwatering chicken? Well, if the rotating chicken in the rotisserie cooker do not entice you.
Ok, so you are vegetarian . Want Baba Ghannouj? Plain but good ol' hummus? How about Yogurt?
All of these are served up at the local AH favorite - Rosine's. There is a home feel here- an Armenian one at that! The place is a bit cramped so try to avoid the rush hour- 7 and 8 PM for dinner.
Favorite Dish: Try the rotisserie chicken of course, but also Baba Ghannouj and a side of potatoes-- very buttery but delicious!

A HUGE sports bar just across from the stadium. It was our unoffcial club for about 5 years when I was single and livin life large in SoCal. I would meet my buddies there for beer and burgers before a game and on weekends we all ended up there afterwards for either celebration brews or to cry in the beer.
Favorite Dish: The Big Kahuna Tuna. It is a slab of Albacore Tune on a bun with glaze and all the trimmings. YUM

This Microbrew Pub Restaurant is a local favorite among Anaheim sports fans. On any given night where there is a sporting event at either Angel Stadium or Arrowhead Pond, this place is really crowded and the wait for a table can be long. Make sure to check the sports calendar for the day you want to dine here. There is plenty of seating inside and a spacious patio outside for dining/drinking on warm evenings.
The beer is good. I recommend the Honey Ale. They also have the usual Hefeweizen, Pale Ale, and Stout available as well. The food menu is typical for Brewery Pubs with lots of meat cuts, wood fire pizzas, and pasta. Various salads are also served for those not wanting a heavy dinner.

This place is easily one of Anaheim's better and affordable Italian restaurants. As you walk into the place, you will notice right away the decor which makes you feel right at home. The menu is laden with comfort food. Try one of their great pizzas (one of the better tasting in the county), pasta dishes, baked dishes, and their surprisingly large selection of seafood entrees.

Sits on a hilltop, overlooking Orange County. Arrive before sunset and catch the panoramic views, as the sun goes down. Restaurant recreates the feel of an old mine. Actually located where a silver mine used to be and furnished with authentic artifacts from the time period. I accompanied my sister there for a business dinner. The food was excellent. I had fish (was it grilled ahi tuna? I'm not sure but I seem to have ordered that a lot the week I was in California!) and I believe quite a few people ordered filet mignon. They have a really great salad bar. The restaurant was packed, so things were hopping. It seemed to be very popular. The combination of good food, unique atmosphere, scenic vista, good service makes this worth visiting! I don't know what the price range is since it was a freebie for me!
Favorite Dish: The menu offered variety. Check out their website where you can look at the menu. They offer pasta, steaks, bbq, seafood, fish and much more. Everything looked good. Considering that dinner was a business "banquet" affair, the food was well prepared and fresh, cooked to order. Their salad bar offered variety, freshness and was excellent. I love those avocados!

We came together for a VT meeting to celebrate Keith's (TinKan) birthday. Everyone had a great time, the food (made fresh daily) and wine were divine and we even welcomed new members into the family.
Favorite Dish: LJ selected the Rahm Schnitzel (breaded veal steak in creme sauce) with German Potato Salad and Spätzle (German noodles) while I had the Boneless Breaded Pork Chops (stuffed with crab and shrimp), Spätzle and Green Beans.

OK... I have now been back in the states for 2 years and I was yearning for some good German food... and guess what? I found a place a few miles away from me in Anaheim.
A friend of mine had told me of a nice German restaurant just off the freeway in Anaheim and he was so right about them having GREAT food.
I had to have a nice veal Cordon Bleu with red cabbage and carrots. Oh the cabbage and carrots were the best I have had at any restaurant and the veal Cordon Bleu was almost as good as my grandmother use to make.
Dion has the chicken schnitzel and potato cakes… I am so glad she filled up on the salad as I got to eat her potato cakes and they were yummy…
We finished off with a very very big apple strudel. By the looks of the other guests there that were having desert, the deserts here are very big and can be shared.
If you want very nice German food cooked by a real German (even if he is Bavarian hahaha but thankfully he is not a Schwab) then this is the place for you.
Dinner with drinks, desert and a coffee for two was $46.00….. not a bad price for great food.
Hours: Mon-Th 7am-9pm, Fri 7am-10pm,
Sat 8am-10pm, Sun 8am-9pm
Favorite Dish: The red cabbage, the carrots and the Goulash soup go good with everything on the menu.

See picture above for and idea of what it looks like from the street and on the outside patio. The food pictured is the carnitas (on the left) and the wet chimichanga (on the right). These are the "dinners" with rice and beans. You can order them without if you like.
This place is VERY CASUAL. It's basically a hole in the wall so don't worry about how you're dressed.
It's located on Harbor Blvd. about 2 miles south of Disneyland right next to the Crowne Plaza hotel.
You will not be disappointed with this place!
Favorite Dish: Some of my families favorites are the following...
Carne Asada
Carnitas
Steak Picado
Wet Chimichanga (this is huge)
We see alot of people ordering the whole fried fish, menudo, ceviche, etc. Don't go for ANYTHING American, skip the burgers and fries (they aren't that great) and order a good old sonora-style Mexican meal, pat your belly, and then go take a nap!

The spaghetti station is filled with pictures of the the old west and has a old gun collection and tiny rooms with booths and tables that you sit in to eat. The walls are filled with memoribilia from the western days and old costumes adorn the eating sections. The menu mainly consists of spaghetti dishes named after historical old west people and there is a flavour for everyone.
Favorite Dish: I ordered a half and half dish which meant that i could try two of the items on the menu. I had the cheese sauce spaghetti and a Calamity Jane a clam sauced pasta. Both were good and the hot bread as an accompaniment is yum!

This restaurant was out the front of our hotel and it was convienient for us to walk accross the car park to it. When we got inside we were greeted by a glass counter filled with the most tantalising pies you've ever seen! After being seated and perusing the menu (it took us ages to decide because everything sounded so yummy) we settled on the Pot Roast each. It was a huge Meal and it was devine! The service was brilliant! the restaurant itself was clean and airy and had a really nice atmosphere to it!
The second time we went we had been on a day trip and were cold and starving. We both ordered a steak and salad - they didn't disappoint us a second time. This meal was as equally delicious and the service was brilliant again!
Favorite Dish: The Pot Roast. Tender pot roastt in a mashed potato bowl surrounded by fresh baby carrots and new potatoes. YUM!

This page includes all of Orange County not just Anaheim. This is sort of the other LA, heavily hispanic and generally more conservative than its northern neighbor.
