Block at Orange: Outdoor Mall in Orange

    by Camping_Girl Updated Dec 15, 2007

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

This is an outdoor mall, just east of Harbour Blvd, so it is easily accessible from the DL area. There are a number of outlet stores here, as well as some great places to eat.

My favorite store in this mall had to be Steve & Barry's. This is a huge clothing store with clothes and shoes for everyone in the family. The prices are unbelievable, I really mean that. As well they have a selection of t-shirts that is larger than anything I've ever seen before. Some of them are absolutely outrageous.

Another store that we really enjoyed was Hilo Hattie's. I picked up an opal here that is just stunning. There are numerous outlet stores in this mall as well. We had a fun shopping day here.

The mall is on the ART route, so it is easy to get to, even if you don't have a car.

What to buy: Hilo Hatties is a very unique place, because it has all Hawaiian merchandise, including a great selection of jewellery.

You will find clothing and shoes stores, electronics, video games, pretty much anything you might want to shop for will be here.

What to pay: In the outlet stores, as well as Steve and Barry's you will find prices that are really easy to take.

Citadel Outlet Mall: Commerce Outlet Shops

    by Camping_Girl Written Mar 4, 2007

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

The outlet shops at Commerce are outstanding! I had to laugh, because the LA locals will all tell travellers not to bother, there are much better shopping spots further afield.

For Canadians - who are starved for decent places to shop, the Citadel Mall is a godsend. The prices are unbelievable. I went on a shopping frenzy. I bought so much, I had to also buy another suitcase. lol.

What to buy: DC Shoes, Billabong, Quiksilver, Zales, Maidenform, The Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, Ann Klein, Banana Republic, Le Crueset ......... the mind pretty much boggles at the choices available here!

What to pay: I got a Wittnauer watch at the Zales outlet store, for $210 USD. Regular retail price is $650. I hope this gives you an idea of the bargains you can find here.

Anaheim Garden Walk: Close by Disneyland~

by Yaqui Updated Nov 4, 2012

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Located just down the road from the Disneyland Resorts and Park is the Anaheim GardenWalk, which is an oasis of outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment in the heart of Orange County. Discover fine dining restaurants, retail shops, an upscale bowling lounge and state-of-the-art movie theaters in a truly unique environment. Yet, while we strolled around, you could tell that business have come and gone sadly. Many empty stores. Still, it is a beautiful area and it was fun to explore.

7-11: Stop in the ever so convenient 7-11

by marinarena Updated Apr 15, 2013

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

A place I've often stopped to break a dollar bill, get a quick snack or drink and play lotto is at the Katella Ave/Harbor Blvd 7-11. This is probably the most busy 7-11 in OC, perhaps even in southern CA. It's within a comfortable walking distance from both D-Land attractions, popular hotels and The Anaheim Convention Center. One can say this is a deluxe 7-11, in that, it offers my convenient items and D-Land items especially to target not don't entirely gauge the tourists.

    What to buy: sunglasses
    Mickey shirts
cheap hot dogs, food stix and misc food
    sushi even!

What to pay: a little or a lot

    K-Mart: Shop Bargains near D-Land

by marinarena Written Jul 17, 2008

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

An American institution, KMART has two locations in Anaheim, both fairly close to D-Land. Good deals are all over the store, including some official Disney merchandise (can be way less than purchasing in the theme parks).

Quality is fairly good on items throughout the store but definitely no great frills here.

Expect more shopping traffic on the weekends especially. Waits at checkout tend to be longer than at other stores.

Basically, I recommend KMART to all Anaheim visitors who want quick convenient items at a good price.

What to buy: Disney items (clothing, etc)
much non_disney apparel for the whole family
convenience items : bottled water, snacks, medicine

What to pay: clothing - varies but dollar deals are abundant

    snacks/food- about 50 cents to $5 average

    Shoe Express: Shoe Express

by fishandchips Updated Sep 15, 2012

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Shoe Express is one of several shoes shops that come and pick you up from your hotel, take you to their shoe shop then drop you back when you are finished. It's a very handy service and the shoes are worth the time to go and have a look. Of the couple of places we went to, Shoe Express was easily the best.

The prices are quite good - esp for us Kiwi's - and the range not too bad though not the running shoe brands here that I run in (ie Asics). The brands on their card include Nike, Reebok, Vans and Converse.

All you need to do is call them on 714 530 1999 and arrange to get picked up.

The Block at Orange is as the name says a block filled with shops, restaurants and entertainment.
You will find here the clothing shops of Old Navy, American Eagle, Big Dog and more. But also Bath & Body Works...

If you want to get a bite you could do that at TGI's , Johny Rockets and so on...

If you done with Disney this could be a nice place to get a way ....

It's located at one of the bussiest intersections the average amount of cars passing is 525,00 daily.

Outlets at Orange: Outlets at Orange

by fishandchips Written Nov 3, 2012

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

There are lots of the big brands at fairly good prices at the Outlets. We shopped for 4 hours or so and came home with lots of clothes in particular. The sports stores were quite good (Sports Authority and Nike included) as were the skater stores (Vans, Converse and the like). The location menas you need to find the right bus or grab a cab - the latter being the best option.

  • The Block at Orange: Where to shop in Anaheim near Disneyland

    by aker21 Written Feb 20, 2010

After wasting the first day of our holiday at the disappointing high end South Coast Plaza, which is NOT for "middle-class" families looking for quality bargains - we took a taxi to the Block at Orange and were thrilled to pick up lots of bargains. We shopped at Converse & Puma, happily leaving with bags of bargains to take home to Australia. Could have easily spent hours there! The centre is modern, clean and has a nice relaxing atmosphere. I can't recommend it enough, if you are on a short holiday from overseas, and want to take home some quality affordable clothing or footwear for yourself & family.

What to buy: Retail outlets - Clothing, footwear.

What to pay: Outlets have great deals, like 40% - 50% off clothing & footwear. I purchased the exact items that I had considered buying the previous day, for full price at the South Coast Plaza.
