For some of the best beef jerkey around and in every differnet type of meet you have to stop at the Alien Beef Jerkey store. The shop has jerkey, honey, olives and snacks of different types from very mild and sweet to scorching hot so there is something for everyone.
What to buy: My favorite is the Southwestern Hot jerkey and the turkey jerkey is good too. The one I have not tried yet and have been told is good is the Ostrich jerkey.
What to pay: The bags of jerkey are $8 each or 3 for $20

The Baker General Store has all of your travel needs as well as cold drinks, snacks and small car parts. Here you can also get your California Lotto tickets?. Maybe if I get enough tickets and win I can fly over Baker and never have to drive through it again?.
