Sadly this place couldn't compete with all the other businesses. Although, the place was a little dated, it was a place I enjoyed. Not just for the good food, service, and the wonderful history this place has.

Wow, this place is great. I just think it is so neat that someone had the foresight in converting this wonderful piece of history to something everyone can enjoy and that would be food!!!!! The decor is great and comfortable and everyone is so friendly here. The food is great, so what else can I say. Come on in and enjoy!

Favorite Dish: Steaks and the Malibu Chicken is yummy!

What great food, decor, and service. If you want to watch a game, this is the place to come. About the only thing is it is too loud. Way too much going on. If you can find a corner in the place where it is a little quieter, you'll enjoy the place better.

Not a fancy place by far, but it is fun. If your expecting gormet food, get real. Its a burger joint. We enjoyed our food. I had a regular burger and my hubby had the fish & chips and it was good. I thought the meal was cheap. There are some neat pictures on the wall the illustrates how the Burger Depot came to be. It is actually in a old train car. They have a nice patio outside to sit on too.

A family owned restaurant that was started by Santos Gamez. It was on this site in 1939 a simply Hot Dog and Snow Cone stand that was transformed in 1953 into a Mexicali Restaurant.

We decided to try it out. It has wonderful decor and the service here is excellent. I will say the sauces they use were different than I am use too. It was not bad, but I prefer what I am traditional use too. Still the food was good and will probably go back.

What is unique, it is next to the Riverwalk!

Sadley this place has closed. We liked it and thought of it unique. Yet, maybe the hidden location was not enough to keep it going.

What a neat place! We enjoyed the food, service, and decor! We ate light by sharing a appetizer Grilled Chicken Quesadillas. Very delicious!

This is a family owned business that has just celebrated 100 years from 1909-2009. They are very popular by locals and visitors seek them out for their own homemade delicous ice cream and candies.

If you like fresh food, then you will love this place. They make everything fresh everyday. They have a huge variety of sandwiches, soups and salads. I’ve frequent this place whenever I have jury duty. It is located right in the downtown area and right down the street from the state and federal courthouses. The food is great and the service is fast, especially for those who are on a tight lunch break. Not a big place, but tables inside and a couple patio tables are outside.

This is a neat restaurant. You order your food at the counter, but they do bring it to you. Lots t look at all over the place. The atmosphere is very colorful and cheery. It looks small from the outside, but is suited to seat a lot of customers. The food was excellent and so was the service.

Favorite Dish: We had this: Chicken & Tri-tip dinner starts with 2 pieces of tender chicken - marinated in our secret blend of island spices and fruit juice and grilled to perfection over our famous mesquite grill. Next we add 2 ounces of succulent marinated tri-tip beef, a delicious tossed garden salad (with our signature oil & vinegar dressing), and our beans (prepared with spices and water - NO LARD!). We finish off this huge platefull, with a Pyrenees sour dough roll (with butter), and our freshly made chunky salsa.
