    Greystone Mansion

    by kimberlyfisher1 Written Sep 3, 2007 201 reviews

Designed by renowned Southern California Architect Gordon B. Kaufman, this English Gothic Revival mansion consists of over 46,000 square feet of living space and was completed in 1928 for the prominent Doheny family.

The landscape architect, Paul G. Thiene, created the lush gardens surrounding the estate using a potpourri of Gothic and neoclassic architectural styles.

Currently owned by the City of Beverly Hills, Greystone Estate was recognized as a Historic Landmark and placed on the Register of Historic Places in 1976. Proceeds from this event go towards the restoration of Greystone Estate.

The Greystone Mansion interiors will be richly decorated in the elegant and classic design of the 1920s. The ASID designers created their own unique look in all of the rooms on the first and second floors located within the main part of the mansion.

The Mansion is currently used to house Beverly Hills Events; such as the 2007 Garden and Design Showcase.

Tour the mansion estate rooms, richly decorated by American Society of Interior Designers LA Chapter and see the lush gardens firsthand.

    by kimberlyfisher1 Written Sep 22, 2007 201 reviews

Roxbury Park is located on the corner of Olympic and Roxbury and offers fun for everyone. For the little ones, dinasaur sculptures, Ranger Mike, and several pieces of play equipment. For the adults, beautiful scenery, tennis/vollyball/baseball/basketball courts in a pristine environment.
