Favorite thing: Have you noticed how gorgeous of a day it has been to start a wonderful holiday weekend? We arrive to our destination, Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. It is located about 40 miles south of Carmel, and about 12 miles South of (the town of) Big Sur. Lesser known. Lesser visited. Just the way I like it.

Favorite thing: Visit the State Park. Take a walk up the trail to the Waterfall. (a tiny but very fine little fall) After you walk back drive so. a few miles and stop a Nepenthe.
After a Moderately Good, nicely high priced whatever. . . Even coffee at the little patio resturant is good, travel on to the Henry Miller Memorial Library.
An Historic place, it's absolutely filled with fun. And, believe me, Henry wouldn't have had it any other way. Lots of Art Galleries around the scene. - Roy.

Fondest memory: Well, in '74 I met this college girl and ...

Skinny Dipping up the Gorge at the park.
