Rusty's: Bishop Barflies
We save Rusty's for the two to three times a year friends from overseas come to town and want to see cowboys/rednecks/good ol' boys in their element.
Dress Code: Helps if you wear a hat - baseball cap with a tall profile or cowboy will do.
Belt buckles and boots if you want to get extra fancy.
- Road Trip
Whiskey Creek: The only clean bar in town!
Whiskey Creek doesn't have the "authentic" feel of Bishop's other two or three saloons, but then again it doesn't have their grimy feel and toothless drunks, either. If they haven't gone north to Mammoth for nightlife, the few yuppies and 20-somethings in the area are likely trying to find it here. The food is American, the local microbrews pretty lousy, and the quality of the live music varies. Chances are, though, that you're hitting this place after spending a week in the woods, or at the very least, doing some kind of tiresome activity (if this isn't the case, you came to Bishop for the wrong reason), and that's when a burger and a pitcher taste better than ever.
