Claim Jumper Restaurant: A food lovers place!!!
Reminiscent of the Old west, guests of Claim Jumper find the restaurants aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Huge Douglas Fir logs, tons of natural rock, corrugated and pressed tin, and natural and finished woods are just some of the features of these impressive buildings.
Favorite Dish: I've been here a number of times so I'll recommend the following: Chilled Cashew Chicken (oven roasted chilled white meat chicken tossed with cashews, celery, curry and mayonnaise, sliced tomato and crisp greens served on a hearth baked onion tomato bread), Hickory Beef Back Ribs (meaty beef back ribs basted with the Original Claim Jumper Sauce), Chicken & Buttermilk Biscuits (double southern-fried breast of chicken served over fresh mashed potatoes, smothered with country gravy, buttermilk biscuits and honey butter) or the Whiskey Chicken (roasted chicken breast stuffed with warm apple dressing and glazed apple whiskey sauce, fresh mashed potatoes & gravy).

Claim Jumper Restaurant: You'll go home full
After appetizer's at another restaurant, we decided to go to the Claim Jumper for dessert...there is nothing small about this place and the desserts didn't disappoint.
Favorite Dish: Well this was actually the first time LJ and I ate dinner here...it was
soooooo good!!! We started off with the Appetizer Combo (battered
artichokes, buffalo wings, battered zucchini, mozzarella sticks, parmesan
garlic rings, loaded skins, cheese potatocakes and southwest eggrolls).
For Dinner, LJ had the Crab Cakes Dinner (breaded & grilled all white
lump crab meat mixed with roasted poblano, vegetables, peppers & spices
served with field greens, balsamic dressing, fries & two dipping sauces). I
had the Beef Back Ribs (hickory smoked beef back ribs, cheesy
potatocakes and a huge homemade biscuit with honey butter).
For dessert, try the huge slices of Cream Cheese Pie (a rich cream
cheese filling with a Lorna Doone cookie crust and a sour cream topping) and
Caramel Apple Cheese Pie (a rich cream cheese pie topped with a spiced
apple caramel topping and a Lorna Doone cookie crust). Two slices fed four
people and there was some left over.
