My daughter recently moved to Chino Hills. Since she has had a baby, our first grandchild, we visit often. Part of the visit seems to always involve food and we are starting to find some great places to eat. Roscoe's Deli has an amazing menu! And, if there is something not on the menu you want, you can create it! It appears to be a dine -in type of restaurant but you can order to go.
They give you plenty. The last time we went we ordered 1 meal and did a $2 fee plate split. They give you an extra side. Well worth it!
Located in Chino Hills, not Chino but it's quite close. The food was very good. We enjoyed it a lot. One of the dishes seemed even French inspired. We start with Petit Kafta and Samira for our appetizers. My entree was the Chicken Champagne and my boyfriend ordered the Lebanese Kafta plate.
By chance is how we found this amazing restaurant. We were at Napa Cabs for some wine tasting and started talking with others about food and wine. The conversation turned to brussel sprouts and this guy said the most amazing brussel sprouts he has ever had was at Owen's Bistro up the street. We couldn't resist and tried it out. We have also been back a second time and brought friends. The food was most excellent both occasions. The brussel sprouts, I have to say, is the star! Each leaf is separated and deep fried. Wine can be brought to this restaurant (with corkage fee) but actually their wine list is very good and the prices are very reasonable.
On the weekend, it is a prix fixe meal with quite the selection. Currently, it's US$29 per person. It is worth it!!!! Can I emphasize this more? If ever in Chino, this is a must do/must eat place!
