This pleasant little town is close to Mt Konocti, Clear Lake State Park, and other attractions. From here, you can drive partway up Mt Konocti, but the road is blocked where you approach the summit. Even from here, the view is great.

Lakeport is yet another pretty town on the shores of Clear Lake. It has an attractive downtown and some fine lakefront parks.

The town of Clear Lake, is located on the southern tip of the lake. It offers good views, restaurants, lodging, and some nice parks.

At over 4,000 feet, Pinnacle Rock, atop Boggs Mountain, offers the best view of the Clear Lake area. Be careful on the unpaved roads; when they become too rugged, just get out and hike the rest of the way.

Named for the town in Switzerland, this lakeside community offers good places to eat or stay while visiting Clear Lake. It also has some attractive parks and piers for boats.

Clear Lake State Park offers camping, boating, swimming, fishing, and hiking. Located right on the shores of the lake, it has a few inlets which are rather marshy, and teeming with wildlife.
