We have dined here 3 times in the past month. We have several Mexican restaurants that we really enjoy, Toledo's is the top 3. The Strawberry Virgin Margeuritas are perfectly blended, and just right. The guacomole is excellent, beautifully presented with lots of fresh chips. The Pico de Gallo is also very good and spicey. I like the Enchilada Suprema which as a really good red sauce, served with beans and rice. The Carne Asada Tacos are also very good and served with the just right amount of spices. Service is always warm and friendly and they are reasonably priced, also.
The dining room is spacious and clean, a great place for a Mexican meal in a festive environment.
Favorite Dish: The Guacamole, Carne Asada Tacos, Enchiladas Suprema, Strawberry Margeuritas

Trelio is under new management for the third time over the past five years. It is now owned and operated by the Shackelford Brothers, Chris, James & Michael. We had an outstanding dinner here and the wine list is very impressive. Chris was formerly the Sommelier for the 5 star restaurant Erna's Elderberry House in Oakhurst, Ca.
The ambiance is casual elegance and the service was also very good. We returned for lunch and everything we ordered was also amazing. The squash soup, the chopped salad, Croques Monsier and the Deep Fried Sloppy Joes were awesome. Fried Okra accompanied the Sloppy Joes along with Portabella Fries with a great dipping sauce.
This is one of not THE finest restaurants in the Clovis/Fresno area at the current time.
Favorite Dish: The appetizer with tomato water, the Wild King Salmon, Deep Fried Sloppy Joes, Squash Soupo with Black Truffle Tortellini, Fried Okra, Portabella Fries

Favorite thing: The big hat days in April is a big event. Downtown is turned into a mecca of music, foodbooths, petting corrals and vendors. It is a part of the rodeo kickoff which is at the last weekend od April.
Fondest memory: Probobly the most important event in Clovis,Ca. is the Clovis parade (which co-insides with the rodeo) which is on the last Saturday of April. Thousands of people are present. It is achance to see many horseriders showing off their horses and riding skills. But, then there are marchingbands, clowns, floats, old cars an a few surspises, like buffulos or Budweiser horses. I will always have this event in my heart.
