The Brigantine Seafood Restaurant: A Local Favorite!
The Brigantine Seafood Restaurant is very popular with the "locals" but not one of my favorites only because there are no ocean/bay views which I really enjoy and they are open only during meal hours. This is not a place you can stop at anytime during the day/evening.
It seems that they have reconsidered their hours and are open from 11:30 am to 10:00 pm Monday through Sunday. Nice job!
I have eaten here often and have to admit that it does have it's good qualities. It is nicely decorated, has several dining room options. A large room, great for larger parties, with tables open to other tables, here there is a view of sorts, along Orange Avenue, so if you like people watching this would be a good place for it. There is a very small outdoor seating section. They also have a more private dining option that I like most. High backed booths that give a sense of seclusion and privacy. They also have a lounge area as well as a full service bar.
The service is attentive and efficient.
Favorite Dish: The food served here is basically American, seafood, steaks, pasta and some popular fried foods.
My favorite dish depends upon my mood. I like most of the seafood items and wine or Prime Rib and a Martini. The food is very good and that's one of the reasons it's such a popular place.
They also offer Happy Hours and this would be a good way to sample their cuisine if you are on a budget.

Brigantine Crab Cakes
Our signature crab cakes on a bed of tomato-basil salsa with pesto aioli.
Dusted with Italian breadcrumbs and served with cocktail sauce and jalapeño cream sauce.
Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail
With diced celery, cocktail sauce and horseradish.
Smoked Salmon Summer Rolls
Smoked king salmon wrapped in tender rice paper with julienne cucumber, tomato, cilantro, onion and pickled ginger aioli. Served with red ginger dipping sauce.
Oysters on the Half Shell
Served with cocktail sauce and tart lemon.
A half-dozen traditional Rockefellers with Pernod-laced spinach, crisp bacon and Parmesan aioli.
Smoked Chicken Taquitos
Served with jalapeño cream sauce & tropical mango salsa.
Blackened Ahi Cozumel
Pacific tuna seared rare and served with tropical mango salsa and balsamic glaze.
One pound of steamed littlenecks in a white wine broth served with sourdough garlic toast.
Mesquite Smoked Salmon
Served with sauce rémoulade and crispy bagel chips.
Broiled scallops topped with jalapeño cream sauce and garnished with crispy tortilla strips.
Crab & Shrimp Lumpia
Crab and shrimp wrapped in lumpia and served with red ginger dipping sauce.
Portofino Salad with Grilled Swordfish
Crisp romaine tossed with seasonal vegetables, herbs and Parmesan cheese, drizzled with sun-dried tomato vinaigrette and topped with grilled swordfish.
Fresh lettuce topped with chicken, crisp bacon, tomatoes, sliced egg, avocado & bleu cheese with our own Cobb vinaigrette.

Twin 4-ounce English top sirloin steaks wrapped in applewood-smoked bacon an topped with crab meat & béarnaise aioli. Served with garlic mashed potatoes & garden fresh vegetables.
Filet Mignon with Whiskey Peppercorn Sauce
8-oz. filet mignon wrapped in bacon and charbroiled and served with garden fresh vegetables and baked potato.
I LOVE the Wok-Charred Ahi. It is a must try.
