Inside and outside dining, great food and service. Peohes patio offers charming waterside views and live entertainment when local musicians are performing in the park area near by.
Walking into Peohes dining room, from the well lit lobby, is like walking into a tropical cave. Walls that look like huge rocks, a small waterfall splashing into the lagoon and tropical flowers gives the dining room a cozy feel, but more important, a refreshingly cool respite from the burning sun on a hot day.
However, I always head out to the patio, which is the basic path of tables, under nautical blue umbrellas, inside the fenced area overlooking the Bay. It is next to the private boat docking area and the sounds of the waves gently or harshly lapping against the pier is really a nice touch, to my way of thinking.
They provide heaters during cooler days/nights and will adjust the umbrellas if the sun's shine is too strong for you.
Favorite Dish: Seafood, steak, chops and sushi bar are some items on the menu, and there is definately a Hawaiian flavor to many of the dishes, but it's the view that attracts me to this restaurant.
The prices on the lunch menu are a bit more affordable. Beware of the "Onion Rings!" They are not the typical skinny circles of sliced onion.
Peohe's Salad is a refreshing change from the basic Iceburg lettuce with tomato.
I usually order their fish & chips but the other items my friends choose are really good too. This is not fine dining but more casual and the menu has enough of a variety that everyone in your party will find something to like.
Wow, loved this place. Wonderful and beautiful decor and had this amazing wrap around deck on the seashore. Just breath taking views. The food was excellent! So all will enjoy this place. The have good old burger and fries for those who don't like seafood. The have a great menu!!!
Favorite Dish: I had the crumb coconut shrimp which was delicious. Gosh it was so tastey. Try the place out, because you can't go wrong!
Peohe's is an excellent restaurant at Ferry landing on Coronado Island. Part of the ambience is, of course, beautiful views of San Diego -- with the occasional piece of miiltary hardware floating across the window.
Favorite Dish: My salmon was exquistite and I didn't hear any complaints from my 2 companions.
Experience our dramatic tropical interior. Set among the foliage, our tiered booths invite feelings of privacy - each with it's own vantage of the skyline and bay. And, weather-permitting, dine "al fresco" in Peohe's charming dock-side courtyard - It's a favorite during lunch and Sunday brunch.
Favorite Dish: Seared Maine Scallops are my favorite. It's so tasty you would think it must be bad for you but it's not. It gives you the satisfaction of a guilty meal while being fairly good for you.
The ambience of Peohe's is very tropically delightful and relaxing.
Favorite Dish: Between us we had, crunchy coconut shrimp, macademia crusted halibut and some seriously good salmon.
