There are so many little shops located in the hotel. So take your time and stroll down the mini mall. A little pricey, but quality looks really good. You can enter the shops at the right of the main entrance or you can get to the shop from the main lobby downstairs.
Also, just in the downtown area is loaded with some wonderful little local shops. Just gotta park and wonder around on foot.
What to buy: Lots of clothing and furnishing stores.:-))
You'll find, at Babcock & Story Emporium, a wide selection of items for decorating the home as well as those special little hard to find things that would fit perfectly with your decor.
Babcock & Story Emporium is situated between Babcock & Story Bar and Babcock & Story Bakery.
It's quite interesting to walk through from the bar to the bakery.
Most of the items offered at the Emporium, are combined by color rather than type. One of my colors is blue and of course I was drawn towards the blue section, glasses, dishes serving bowls, tapestries, books and so much more, all in predominately blue colors grouped together. Greens, Reds, and Yellows are some of the other color groups.
What to buy: Buy anything that attracts your eye and you can afford. One aspect of this place is that it offers some unique and unusual items that I haven't found in the regular stores.
What to pay: Definately up to your budget. It costs nothing to browse.
Hotel Del Coronado offers an impressive shopping experience. Nothing tacky to be found here. Well, almost nothing tacky. Prices here are high but the quality is excellent.
The entrance to this little underground shopping mall is off the Lobby and down the stairs. The exit is out the back of the hotel where you'll find Sheerwater restaurant, B & S Bar, the Sun Deck Bar & Grill as well as a nice little park and the great Pacific Ocean.
I walk through this area almost everytime I go to the Del, just to see what's new this year. Can't afford anything, but would buy if I could and it's nice to see anyway.
What to buy: There are clothes for men and women and children, handbags and accessories, works of art and my favorite is a unique perfume shop where they will create a scent especially for you!

Walking around Hotel Del Coronado (called sometimes Hotel Del) I found a few luxury and expensive stores (called The Del Shop) - they sell mainly clothes (for men, women and kids as well) and gifts.
What to buy: Gift cards from Hotel Del Coronado.
What to pay: Much :-).
Like all resorts, the Del Coronado has its share of fancy-schmancy shops to help its guests spend whatever is left after forking over a room here. Men and women’s clothing, toys, jewelry, home decor, chocolates, Del-branded souvenirs…all of it is top quality with price tags to match. Money to burn? You can do it in a hurry here. Goodfish settled for a $5 'fridge magnet. :O)
What to pay: Oodles
