Remember that Coronado Island is organized (more or less) in a grid format. It goes from 1st and A to like 13th and J. There's some craziness on the edges, areas that are a little confusing. No worries though, if you ever get confused just ask a nice local and they would be happy to help.
Click on this map to enlarge. It will give you an idea of the size and layout of Coronado Island. You can easily visit Coronado in a half a day, but if you can afford it, I'd recommend spending a night at the Hotel Del Coronado and soaking up the atmosphere.
