    Take it slow please!

    Watch out, they are out!

One of the most important things I could share is too slow down and take it easy. Just because everyone in this area drives like a nut doesn't mean you have. Just slow down and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Just be on the defense when driving in this area. Want you all to be safe and get home safe!! :-))

    One way streets

    ONE WAY!

Although Coronado is small there were quite a lot one way streets there. Watch traffic signs.

One way streets were often wide (3 lanes) and they were almost empty when I was driving there (at early afternoon on Saturday). Remember that you drive one-way street not to U-turn on them!

    INTERSECTION

Watch traffic signs next to traffic lights - enlarge my picture: sometimes (like in my picture) you are allowed to U-turn in the intersection but sometimes NOT.
Warning: there are cameras in many intersections in Coronado and they are not webcams hehe. Are they used to measure traffic and change lights or... to get you a ticket if you drive wrong?

    Do not cross

    DOUBLE YELLOW LINE

Don't cross double yellow/orange? line, you may get a ticket.
Do NOT ask me how much it is? I don't now but I am sure that neither $100 nor $200. It seems that they don't like number "0" hehe, so they usually ticket you for $381 or $147 or so :-))). I wander why?

As with this whole part of California, watch out for the insane drivers. They'll cut across 2 lanes of traffic without signalling or looking -- if you're lucky, they won't be talking on their cell phones, but you may not be lucky....
