    Coronado Sidwalk Rules

by Agraichen Written Aug 29, 2014

Coronado is always a fun place to seek out sun and sand pretty much any day of the year but there are a few rules that visitors might wish to know about and follow.

The sidewalks are for pedestrians that are walking only. Bicycles, skateboards, skates, etc. are "verboten" and the police tend to watch for this activity.

Also sidewalks, streets, etc are considered "public property" and as such there is no smoking allowed.

    Not Like The Movies

In American movies we see that it is cool to rebel against the rules. In real life that is not so and a blatant disregard can cause big trouble.

Also, obey the signs! Why anyone would want to go into that shallow little pond when the beach and bay are so near, I haven't a clue.

Forget the pond, jump in the SD Bay!

Take your dog on leash unless otherwise posted. They must be leashed in Coronado Beach.

    WALK YOUR DOG :-)
