If coming to the greater Los Angeles area to attend a Wheel of Fortune taping, you'll get to enjoy Culver City, which has hosted the long running TV game show with Pat Sajak and Vanna White. Tickets are FREE as always. Tapings are on the Sony Studios lot and usually last a few hours including wait time for security and to be seated . Leave cameras behind. They are not permitted inside.
Notes:
This is a family friendly event. Audience members can be as young as 8 years old.

....and how cute Alex Trebek is in person. Ah, I have always had a thing for that fine ol' witty, sophisticated Canadian game show host. Jeporady is a classic TV hit I particularly cherish being a trivia buff. I doubt my skills enough to not venture being on the show but I would love to be in the audience to watch others as contestants.

Culver City hosts an annual Artwalk event at the end of May for free. However, I'm sure the galleries are open throughout the year. There are quite a few within 2-3 blocks of each other. For a list, you can check the link below.

Culver City can rightfully boast of big and small screen heritage. It is home to Sony Pictures Studio where live movies and shows still are being filmed. Here is a Hollywood West.

More and more American towns are reshaping their "downtown" or centralized area. It is no different in Culver City. Cobblestone streets and freshly painted buildings are common of downtown features and CC has these, but there is also an art deco look that makes this downtown special. More pics to come!

You may or may not spot a star (I can't promise you yeah or nay) but doing a walking tour of Sony Studios or any studio for that matter is quite a remarkable thing to do. Not everyone in the world is able to do this and feel lucky that tours are still being conducted in this era.
