There aren't many places that can compare to Death Valley for gazing at a blanket of stars under the wide open skies of this amazing desert. If you're camping in the desert it can get chilly at night so be sure to light up a campfire and watch the flames turn to glowing embers....this is the best time to look skyward into the brilliant night sky.
