    This is a huge and popular restaurant, part of a chain throughout the Southwest US. As you might expect it's specialty is beef, any way you want it.
    Our two experiences here were in a banquet setting after dog shows. The banquet facilities appear to be sort of an add-on to the building as the room is narrow and L shaped. One long table dominates the room and it is hard to talk with anyone except those at your elbows and those across the table from you.
    Our last experience was not too good, as the service was slow and inconsistant. It appeared that not enough help was available.

    Favorite Dish: The banquet choices were prime rib, chicken or vegetarian. The prime rib was a good size but awfully rare. Many people commented that it wasn't done well enough. the chicken entree was a kabob and looked quite appetizing. Baked potatoes came in many sizes and often butter and sour cream servings were too small.
    Generally, I'm sure this place can do better. The rest of the restaurant was packed on a Friday night. A sure sign of its popularity.

    This is our second time at Mary's. Located close to our hotel it offers a nice informal dining experience. The dining area is spacious with lots of elbow room. Tables or booths are available. Service is usually quick. The menu is quite extensive with a large variety of pizzas plus many Italian entrees. Breadsticks are a staple of the table.
    Mary's is a chain started by a Mary who made her way from Italy. She now has 15 locations.

    Favorite Dish: My first meal was eggplant parmisian. The eggplant was well done, not soppy, and the suauce was excellent. Next time I had lasagna which was just as good. I accompanied my meal with Sierra Nevada Pale Ale which is offered on tap. The salad was generous with a wide choice of dressings.
    Sad to say the service last time was a bit intermittant. We would expect it to improve next time.
