There is a very good beach at the end of Grand Blvd. Be careful with parking there as sometimes the police will ticket you if you do not pay. The beach for the most part is empty except for the surfers and kite flyers.
There are a few buildings in El Segundo that are of historical and/or architectural interest. Two of my favorites are this neat church and the El Segundo High School.
There are several nice murals in the downtown area depicting past and present things impacting the history and life of the citizens of El Segundo.
This is the Friendship Tree located in Library Park. It was planted here in 1965 to symbolize the friendship between El Segundo and its sister city in Mexico, Guaymas.
