Theres really not much of a night life in this town, muchless the area. There are a few bars but they are pretty much filled with the seedy s.t.d carrying stereo types you'd expect to find in any airport strip club, so yeah it blows and the place is gross.

Lost Coast Brewery is one of the few bars open late at night in Eureka, and it is a great choice for a beer. Lost Coast is one of Northern California's top breweries with such tasty and widespread beers as Great White, Lost Coast Pale Ale, Eight Ball, and Downtown Brown. Interestingly, this brewery has been in business since the beginning of the microbrewery trend in the US (~1990) and has always been owned by women.
We stopped in around 10pm on a quiet Monday night. We enjoyed a few of the local wheat beers while checking out the odd decor of the bar. The beer was excellent as always and only cost $3 a pint. They have an extensive menu that includes salads, burgers & sandwiches, seafood, pasta and pizza... all for under $10. The bar and restaurant is open 7 days a week and offers free wireless internet access.
The restaurant and cafe is located on Fourth Street while the brewery itself is located at 123 West Third Street in Eureka, just down the road from the brewery and cafe. Leave a Comment
