The Wizard Pub is the only neighborhood bar specializing in classic rock. Original rock posters and memorabilia cover the walls reminiscient of the time when this spot was the Psychedelic Wizard and filled with tie-dyed t-shirts and Grateful Dead items.

Both of the abover mentioned night clubs are usually full of people. Bulldog Brewery, in addition to the club, has a small restaurant-type eating place in it...really good cheesecake :). I really enjoy dancing, so perhaps I'm a bit biased, but I do like the dance floors in these places. Woo Hoo!!

Starline - Intimate clean club venue for local and regional acts - seats about 250 - small bar inside and appetizers from the restaurant next door.
Club Fred - A bit "earthier" clientele than Starline, the former biker bar still sports a pool table, and cheap happy hour bar, but they get great bands here - a true hangout for locals play the gamut from metal to folk - or some national travelling blues and reggae acts. Seats about 75, but no one seems to mind standing.
Dress Code: usually fairly relaxed, but some nights dictate a better dress - Salsa nights are long dress for women

Many nights, it seems like everything in happening in the Tower, while on the quietest nights, there's at least one nice place left you can go all the way to 2am: Livingstone's. Do you like fine dining? Check out The Daily Planet, The Landmark, Vini Vidi Vici (and there's two newer restaurants too). Like to play pool or shuffleboard, drink microbrews? Check out the Avalon, it's awesome. In speaking of microbrews, you can't miss Butterfield's or their appetizer menu. Great bars are to be found virtually all locations here. To dance, go the gay clubs on the north edge of the Tower near Moroa and Shields.
Dress Code: Dress code: smart casual at the strictest.

This is a brand new state of the art arena and its beautiful...beats the hell out of the old Selland Arena. Great for concerts and Fresno State basketball

Not much nightlife here. Any place that is good eventually shuts down. The best place that was ever here was a club called the Palace a long time ago.
