The Fresno Metropolitan Museum is a fine museum. It has a science center. It also has an excellent permanent collection on William Saroyan, Fresno native and famous writer.
I thought that the Chinese Snuff Bottles permanent collection was pretty cool. When I went there, there was an exhibition on the works of local artists. Exhibitions regularly change, however, so there's always something new to see.
Adult admission price is $7. The museum is closed Mondays.
