Favorite thing:
Downtown/ Villa del Sol
When in Fullerton, go to the lovely Villa del Sol and pick up the Experience Fullerton Magazine. it has plenty of city info and even better, discounts for city establishments like restaurants, some that are a bit pricey downtown. One featured coupon is the Platinum Card. It's free and anyone can use it!
Favorite thing:
Lots of entertainment, especially in downtown.
Fondest memory:
Something to remember here is the passion for history, such as what it has compared to, say, China. For example, the cause to restore the downtown Fox Theater near the intersection of Harbor Blvd and Chapman Ave.has been pasionately pursued by many residents and admirers of Fullerton.
Favorite thing:
One of the best things we like about Fullerton is the small town feel and the feeling of being safe here. You can walk the old town area and not have to keep looking over your shoulder all the time.
The town has an old area located at Harbor and Chapman Ave, which I recommend walking around.
There is plenty of parking off Chapman Ave.
Fondest memory:
This is a collage town so there is plenty of bars and places to listen to music and to be seen.
I like all the food places in town and have not found a bad one yet.
Favorite thing: This was completed 12/14/02. It's acrylic and oil on wood with Japanese text and a postmark collaged in the background....a painting of my two Japanese Oranda goldfish. I have 5 fish total - 2 huge orandas, 1 small telescope eye, 1 loach, 1 albino catfish & 2 snails. I think there will be more fish paintings to come.
Fondest memory: Mixed media drawing of a string and wire sculpture. I gave this to an ex-boyfriend after he framed it for me.
Favorite thing: This is the coolest picture. My friend took it in Fullerton because he couldn't figure out how to use my digital camera.
Favorite thing: I won an art contest with this shrinky dink version of the inside of my old Honda. 2/02 It's the size of a credit card, per request, called, 'There's No Place Like Home.'
