This restaurant is the only one we frequent regularly in Garberville. Large selection of pasta dishes, soups, salads, deli sandwiches, burgers and other grill items. Wines, beers, and sodas, espresso drinks.
Although the sign ouside says Trattoria and they do have a large selection of pasta dishes, and they also sell uncooked ravioli, tortellini, and various other pasta by the pound to go, we have seldom seen anyone actually eating pasta here. Strange.
You can dine here for less than $10/ea, but not if you order the pasta dishes. They start at about $12.
Casual dining or take out. Catering service also avaiable. Atmosphere can vary, depending on the ratio of tourists to locals.
Favorite Dish: Taco Salad or BLT and soup.

This is black bear country and they'll steal your food if you give them the opportunity to do so.
Unfortunately I learned this the hard way. One evening during dinner, a bear walked off with my backpack because I left some food items in one of the side pockets.
Fortunately my backpack was found the next morning, the side pocket with food was damaged. But the pocket was easily replaced.
